Behaviour and Attitudes Wins Establishment Survey Contract to 2018

Following a competitive bid, TAM Ireland and Nielsen are delighted to announce that the incumbent, Behaviour and Attitudes, has been appointed to conduct the Establishment Survey for a further three years.

The Establishment Survey is a foundation stone of the television measurement service, providing both the detail of television-related equipment in homes from which Universes can be accurately calculated, and a pool of homes we can recruit for the TV viewing panel.

The completed sample size of 8,250 households per annum makes the Establishment Survey the largest on-going face-to-face survey in Ireland. The survey will move from the current three waves per year to two waves per year, adding robustness to each wave and each related universe release through a 50% increase in sample size from 2,700 responses to 4,125 per wave.

Moving to two waves per year also means that there will now be two universe updates per year in January and July, commencing January 2016.
